ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of cisplatin and nedaplatin through comparing the effects of synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy of cisplatin and nedaplatin on patients with locally advanced cervical cancers.Methods Clinical data of 54 cases of patients with locally advanced cervical cancers received treatment at our hospital from 2009 to 2011 were analyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into two groups according to the treatment:group DDP (cisplatin) and group NDP (nedaplatin).The general information,short-term effect,long-term curative effect,and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results The general information including gender,age,body mass index (BMI),stages,and pathology had no statistically significant difference between two groups.The response rate (RR)of patients in each group was 100％.The complete remission (CR) rate between groups NDP and DDP had no statistically significant difference.Among the patients ≤60 years old,the CR rate,the survival rate of 1,2,and 3 years,and the median progression-free survival (PFS) had no statistically significant difference.Among the patients ＞ 60 years old,the survival rate of 1,2,and 3 years,and the median PFS had no statistically significant difference,but the CR rate had statistically significant difference.In the non-hematological toxicity,the incidence rate of nausea and vomiting,the effect on renal function in group NDP were obviously lower than those in group DDP.There was no significant difference in liver function damage.In the hematological toxicity,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence rate of anemia and leukopenia.The incidence rate of decrease of platelet in group NDP was higher than that in group DDP,but it was mainly reflected in the Ⅰ and the Ⅱ level.Conclusions Cisplatin had the same efficacy of concurrent chemoradiotherapy with nedaplatin for the treatment of locally advanced cervical carcinoma with a worse tolerance.

Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of phosphorylated AKT (pAKT) and phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) in colorectal carcinoma tissues.Methods The expression of pAKT and PTEN were detected by immunohistochemical SP method in 112 case of colorectal carcinomas tissue.Results The positive rates of pAKT and PTEN expression were 79.5 ％ (89/112) and 47.3 ％ (53/112) in colorectal cancerous tissues,respectively,which showed a statistically significance when compared with those in adjacent normal and adenoma tissues.The positive rate of pAKT expression was closely related with the invasive depth,clinical staging and lymph node metastasis of colorectal carcinomas.The positive expression of PTEN was also closely related with the invasive depth,degree of differentiation,clinical staging and lymph node metastasis of colorectal carcinomas.The expressions of pAKT and PTEN were negative correlaed.Conclusion The results showed that the expression of pAKT and PTEN were closely related with progression and metastasis of colorectal carcinomas,which may provide a new therapeutic target for colorectal carcinomas by blocking PTEN/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.

@#Objective To explore the role of Kv channel interacting protein 1(KChIP1)in the process of epileptic seizure and the relationship between KChIP1 and gamma-aminobutyric acid-(GABA)ergic neurons.Methods Normal female Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with pentylenetetrazole to make acute pentylenetetrazole models of epilepsy.Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope(LSCM)combined with double-labeled immunohistochemical technique was applied to observe the expression of the KChIP1 and the GABAergic neurons in the hippocampus of rats.Results The number of KChIP1-postive neurons in the hippocampus was significantly increased in the acute pentylenetetrazole model rats(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of double-labled neurons(P>0.05),nor of the GABA-postive neurons between the model rats and the controls.The ratio of double-labeled neurons/total positive neurons was 63.9% in the hippocampus.Conclusion The KChIP1 might be involved in epileptogenesis of pentylenetetrazole induced seizure.The KChIP1 was associated with GABAergic neurons,whereas it may be functionally different from GABA.
